On 3rd December, 2024, International Day of Persons with Disabilities, SID solidified its institutional impact through an official collaboration signing with LASODA (Lagos State Office for Disability Affairs). This milestone recognizes SID’s unwavering commitment to inclusion, following earlier approvals from the Lagos Ministry of Education that granted access to five public special needs schools, bringing our total number of partner schools to six.

UNITED FOR A SAFER AFRICA: SID NIGERIA AFRICA AND ENVASO SPAIN EUROPE PARTNERS FOR CHANGE
Swim in 1 Day SID Africa and ENVASO are teaming up to empower Africa’s vulnerable through water therapy and swimming education.
We need to provide swim/water therapy for about 900 students, in the six schools for children with disabilities that we have access to, and urgently need funding for scholarships, staff training, and the completion of a Special Needs swimming pool rebuild.
